Strategy games may be the ones that need most brain power out of all types of games. They are perfect for those who enjoy a little head scratching thinking without having to compromise excitement and a good rush of adrenaline. Whether you are protecting a house from zombies or a castle from invaders or even the planet from alien enemies, it is definitely a fun experience to blast them away one by one.

Gianormous Games appeals to this fun we are seeking as it releases its newest offering Tower Raiders 2.

In this game, the player is tasked to protect Earth crystals from raiders. Players are given a whole arsenal of cool weapons, but each one will have to be strategically placed for maximum damage to the enemies. This is where brains come in; you’ll have to figure out the best strategy to beat them.

It will take a while for anyone to be bored of Tower Raiders 2, as it constantly evolves to accommodate more challenging levels. Weapons are also able to be upgraded to match the fiercer enemies on their way.

The thing is, this is a pure strategy game. Do not expect flashy graphics or cute animations—you won’t find that here. While the graphics are good and clean, with a straight-forward layout, it does not boast the advanced animation other games have these days. Future versions of this game may display more flashy aesthetics, but for now, this one is certainly good enough.

What it does provide is a functional interface for one of the best strategy games in the market. It is simple, but grows to be more difficult as it goes on. You can even play with your friends with Game Center, and there’s a community online where users can exchange tactics or boast scores.
