Design Your Body is a fitness tracking iPhone app that will help you stay in shape during the holiday season. The fitness app provides you with a set of workouts that you can perform every day to reach your personal fitness goals. Each workout is tailored to match your physical attributes and can be done at your own pace.
The app requires you sign up for an account before you are able to get access to your workouts. The sign up process is something that needs to be improved on as it took a couple trials before I was able to login and for some reason the pop up messages were written in Korean instead of English like the rest of the sign up fields.
After you manage to get through the sign up process, you’ll be able to use the app and start your workout program. You are asked to add information about your height, weight, age and gender. The app then calculates your BMI and selects the best workout program for you based on your physical attributes. You can override the suggested workout program by tapping on any of the available workout programs however this is not recommended unless you are absolutely sure about what you’re getting yourself into.
The app’s interface is very well designed and easy to navigate. When you tap on your workout program, you can view the types of workouts you should be doing every day and videos to show you how to do each workout. There is also an exercise log to record your sets and over time the app will display your progress on a graph. Additionally, you can use the app to take before and after pictures to track your overall physical condition.
Design Your Body is $1.99 from iTunes and is compatible with iPhone. Aside from a few bugs that need to be fixed, this app provides users with a comprehensive solution for keeping track of their fitness and is a good tool to have for staying healthy.
