Based on the original board game Snakes and Ladders, Yianni Software brings the revamped version to iOS. If you’re not familiar with the board game then the object is quite simple. Just get your piece to the last space on the board. The only thing that will probably prevent you from getting there is a perfect roll to land on the last space.
Now that we all know the object we can move on to how LadderSnake works. LadderSnake has the same exact concept except the only difference is that there are bonuses added to spice up the game. There are 9 bonuses that you will be able to use: Big Steps, Stun, Stun Trap, Knockback, Knockback Trap, Fly Ahead, Respin, Swapsies and Catchup. Bonuses can do anything from causing players to miss turns, swap spaces or even knock players back. Bonuses can be used either before or after a turn. Each turn you will have to tap on the number wheel and it will spin. Whatever number it lands on is how many spaces you move. You move your piece by tapping the desired space you wish to move onto and you will also be guided by footprints to aid you on your path. Once you are done moving your piece click “End turn”.
LadderSnake can be played solo or with up to 3 other people or computers. There are a total of 3 boards for you to choose from that should be chosen based on age with ages 3+ being the smallest boards and ages 8+ being the biggest.
