Apple Life by Tharle Games for the iPhone makes fruit fun in this thrilling puzzler app. Apple Life may resemble Rubik’s Cube in a way, and you may see some Bejeweled similarities, but this app quite literally and figuratively, puts a new spin on things.

The grid style playing board is comprised of 42 multi-colored, revolving, 3D apples, with the objective being to form a chain of three or more similar apples by holding and dragging the apples in any direction.
Rainbow apples are wildcards of sort, there are rotten apples – you can probably guess what these do, and apples bombs, yes, apple bombs, which wipes out any and all apples on the game board. Once you complete the chains you will score points and be rewarded with pop-up graphics with sayings like “wow” and “good job.” A little encouragement never hurt anyone!

There are several playing modes; Happy, Kids, Extreme and Relax. However, only the “Happy” version is free with the other three versions available for in-app purchase. Apple Life’s graphics are top notch and the music sounds a bit like ColdPlay which can be relaxing while you try and focus on making apple chains. Let’s not forget to mention Game Center Enabled.

This app will cost you absolutely nothing; the slight trade off being you will have to deal with on-screen advertisements, but his is a fun puzzler worth downloading. You know what they say; an apple app a day…..
