AppDictions App Review
Get ready for some soundboard fun with SoundSlate for the iPad. Everyone, or just about everyone loves soundboards. Funny noises, random sounds, famous movie quotes and one liners from comics, there always seems to be a need, at least a funny inopportune time to use a soundboard.

Pre-recorded sounds and files are useful to many industries from DJ’s and musicians to the casual podcaster. Many soundboards utilize Flash, so playing them on your “I” device is not possible. However, SoundSlate allows you to create custom soundboards quite easily. Overall the app is easy to use, but there are many options and areas of customization, so take a look at the help and tutorial in the app’s upper left.

You can create several pages of soundboards, each containing 20 buttons. There are a ton of pre-recorded sounds from laughter and belches to babies crying and horror music effects. A basic button is created by tapping and holding and sorting through the sounds, recording your own, or selecting a track from your iPod Library. Customization is a plenty and you can choose how sounds interact and fade in and out along with a ton of other customizations.

SoundSlate is pretty unique and lots of fun, however, we would like to see the price drop a couple of dollars from $7.99 so many others are inclined to try it out and enjoy.

Whether you podcast, have an online radio station, or are simply the class clown; SoundSlate will enable you to build some killer soundboards.

iTunes Description
