Tiny Tank Combat is a fast paced shooting game app for your iPhone and iPad. Players must use their battle tanks to destroy enemy tanks and conquer the battlefield. There are plenty of enemies to defeat and weapons to choose from that will bring an intense combat scenario to your device.

Your tank can be controlled by using your accelerometer or touch screen. The app goes through a calibration process the first time you start and adjusts the controls to suit your playing style. From the tests conducted, the touch screen controls were better than the accelerometer controls as they were more accurate and easier maneuver than the accelerometer.

The majority of the gameplay involves you fighting off enemy tanks that come in different waves. You have to avoid getting hit by projectiles while trying to destroy other tanks on the battlefield. The more tanks you destroy the higher your score will be at the end of each level. The app is linked through Game Center which makes it easier to keep track of your score and compare it to other members on the leaderboard.

There is also an extensive collection of upgrades and bonuses you can purchase from the app’s in game store. You can buy weapon upgrades, improve performance of your current weapons and upgrade your health levels. You can also attach radar to your tank so you can have a large view of the battlefield during gameplay.

Overall, Tiny Tank is a decent shooting game. It’s a very basic shooter that gives you all the basic controls and features you would expect. The design could be improved on and controls could be a lot smoother. However, this app will provide you with hours of fun and won’t cost you anything.
