See Interesting Sites Their Locations with Cruisin’ Pasadena

Plan Your Trips with Crusin Pasadena iPad and iPhone Travel App

Planning a trip to Pasadena? Cruisin’ Pasadena is a iPad and iPhone travel app that will make your trip even better.  With more than 70 different sites taking you through some of the most iconic scenery the city has to offer—from the Rosebowl stadium to the Colorado Street Bridge—this app will make discovering the historic city of Pasadena an unforgettable experience.

The iPhone and iPad app contains information of all sites built between the 1900s and 2000s, virtually replacing the need to hire a tour guide. Each location comes with details telling you the condition of the location i.e. whether it’s still in its original form, been altered or demolished, a distance calculator that shows you how far you are from the location, and the street address.

You can view the locations using the list view or map view depending on your preferences. The list view – which is the default view the app starts in — is where you can scroll and search all the locations contained in the app.

Switching to map view gives you a bird’s eye view of all the locations overlaid on top of the area map with green markers symbolizing open locations and the red markers representing closed or demolished locations.

Tapping on each location in either map or list view will take you to detail page where you can find out more information about the site. You’ll be able to see the sites full address, a general overview describing the history behind the location and other interesting facts.

One of the nice things about using this app is that it includes images showing you how the location has changed over time. The before pictures are presented as beautiful vintage illustrations, the after images are photos taken by users showing what the place looks like now.

If you’ve used any popular travel or navigation apps before then using this app won’t be a problem. The user interface is easy to navigate and there are a lot of nice features that will make finding your way around the city easy.

Cruisin’ Pasadena costs $2.99 from iTunes and is compatible with iPhone and iPad.
