Adventure games are a dime a dozen, and with good reason. There’s nothing like embarking on a journey in a dangerous jungle, with maps and missions and traps. Players can do all that and more with Pocket Monkey, a new application by GameCell.

This adventure game will surely take the market by storm. From start to finish, it is very impressive with challenges and rewards that will keep you engrossed the whole day.

Pocket Monkey’s premise is simple and not really that unique. Players control the pocket monkey, who is tasked with seeking out his lost tribe. There are enemy animals who may be out for your blood, so watch out for traps. Swing from tree to tree with the agility of a real monkey and collect bananas and nuts to use as weapons. The game offers plenty of variety and interesting tasks such as finding a key for the next level and two different seasons to play in (summer and winter) through six levels of good old fashioned fun.

As with any adventure game, it is easy to figure out what to do, but it grows more challenging as you go along. The controls are straight-forward and simple—you are sure to be playing seamlessly moments after you begin playing.

The real draw of Pocket Monkey is its flawless execution, with regards to graphics. It is colorful without being brash, and the movements on the screen never seem jilted or forced. The smooth animations enhance the gaming experience, and the beautifully rendered background is appealing to the eyes of both kids and adults. This is definitely a game for all ages.
