If you fall into any of those categories then the My Movie Collection app is definitely for you! My Movie Collection allows you create and organize a list of all of the movies you have seen, own and/or viewed at a glance. Never again will you be in the situation of not knowing if you have seen a movie before.
Have you ever loaned a movie to a family member or friend and never saw it again? Yeah it happens to all of us. Well now you can us the loan feature, which allows you to pick from your list of phone contacts, who you loaned a movie too. You will never forget what and who you loaned a movie to.
My Movie Collection iPhone app uses a huge database which features movies of all genres and even movies dating back to the 70’s and 80’s. You will have access to more than just a title with My Movie Collection. You will be able to watch trailers, view HD covers and find out information about the movie such as release date, length, rating, cast and much more.
Movies can be found by either searching title names, actors name or by using the barcode scanner. Once you find the movie you’re looking for adding it to your collection is as simple as clicking “Add” in the upper right corner of your screen. Movies can also be found and added to your collection by manually entering in the movie information.
Movies in your collection can be viewed in 3 different ways; Bookshelf, Detail or Text mode. You can change the status of your movies (Owned, for sale, rented, etc.) by clicking on the settings tab and the format of your movies whether it be DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital, etc. The free version of My Movie Collection limits the number of movies you can add to your collection and also displays an ad at the top of the screen that may be bothersome. The paid version of the app can be purchased for $2.99 and allows you to add unlimited movies and remove the ad at the top of the app.
