I Say Goodbye, the Story of Two Girls of Italian Origin
I Say Goodbye is an iPad app for iBooks 2 based on the enthralling story by Luigi Savagnone. Join the adventure of two girls as they face the trials and tribulations of living everyday life in the Italian town of Sicily.
This app will give you an opportunity to gain a glimpse at the beauty of Italian cities through a fun and insightful viewpoint. Although only 55 pages long, I Say Goodbye is still as thrilling and as enjoyable to read as any typical novel of twice the length.
The app is very content rich and contains a wide selection of videos and pictures that will keep you immersed throughout the adventure. The pictures give you a first-hand view of beautiful Italian locations such as the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Palermo, the Vatican City in Rome and the gondolas in Venice.
There are also short clips within each chapter that can be played either at full screen or while you read the through the story. The videos are nothing too fancy but they do add a sense dimension and give you a better sense of the characters’ perspectives.
As far as the story is concerned, I can’t reveal too much without spoiling it for you but what I can say is that it is very well written and readers can expect a fair share of twists in the end. The characters go through very relatable life events which help make the story even more captivating.
Overall, this is a great addition to your iBooks collection and is a great quick read on a lazy Sunday afternoon or on your day off. You can get I Say Goodbye for iBooks 2 or later for $0.99 at the iTunes App Store today.
