HeroCraft has created a new fun filled sequel to the original flash based game Gibbets. If you aren’t familiar with Gibbets then here is how it works. Remember the old school game Hangman? Where you guess letters and your goal is to figure out the word or words without having too many wrong guesses. Gibbets 2 offers over 50 new exciting levels that will put you to the ultimate test challenging your speed and accuracy as well as a little patience at times. As you draw back your bow and arrow, helpless hangmen await your rescue before they run out of air, but try not to hit the hangmen or you could possibly kill them. If you are already a pro at the game and have spare arrows then you can use them to get bonus points, more arrows and ultimately a higher score and star rating. When you’re just starting to play the game it may take some getting used to as you slide your finger back to aim for the ropes and icons, but soon enough you will get the hang of it and work your way through all the levels.

Gibbets 2 has a nice cartoonish feel with awesome western style music to fit the game. If you’re not feeling the game music then you also have the option to listen to some of your own music while you rescue the hangmen. As the hangmen run out of air their faces turn purple, they bleed and even comment humorous remarks if hit.  HeroCraft definitely did an excellent job in bring us the sequel that offers more addictive gameplay and a competitive online leaderboard. If you have $0.99 then be sure to download this game.
