Compass (TripPages) App Review
AppDictions App Review
The great outdoors is called “great” for a reason. It really is a vast place, with countless nooks and crannies to discover. With the popularity of outdoor sports—camping, mountain climbing, cycling—it’s a good thing technology is at the same time finding new ways of helping us cope with the challenges of being in the wild. One such challenge that plenty of outdoor athletes may encounter is getting lost.
Fortunately, the most popular gadgets are now equipped with tools to help us always find our way back. Compass (TripPages) is a new app by developer Studeo410 that is an absolute must-have for those who enjoys exploring the great outdoors.
Compass (TripPages) is extremely easy to use. If you’re familiar with an ordinary compass, you can work this as a pro, because it basically reads the same way as one. At the same time, users of this application will enjoy with the additional features you don’t get with an actual compass.
With the Compass (TripPages), you get to switch between various options. Choose the unit of measurement you’re most comfortable with, and switch between the True North and Magnetic North with ease. It also displays temperature, speed and altitude, something that should be useful when outdoors—and something a regular old compass don’t show.
Navigation within the application is extremely straightforward. Aside from the compass itself, selection and moving around is smooth and simple. The interface is neat and sleek; without any on-screen clutter, but not too much blank space that it seems bland.
The handy nature of this application means you don’t have to clutter your bag with too much stuff. Now even your tools are integrated in the iPhone (or iPad).
The compass is a necessity when venturing to the wild, so check out Compass (TripPages).
