AppDictions App Review
Turn your iPad into a scientific calendar with CAS Calc P11 from developer Power App GmbH. With the advent and continued growth of educational apps, the subject of calculus seems like a no brainer for the focus of an app, even more so for a fully functional graphing calculator. The iPad’s screen is easily bigger than many traditional calculators, and the app features a native QWERTY keyboard, and also supports an external Blue Tooth keyboard if that is your preference.

In the interest of full disclosure, I was never a fan of math and have no idea what MAPLE, TI-Style or C-Style are, but these are the supported formats! CAS Calc P11includes over 1200 math functions (this seems like infinity to the untrained mathematician!) and there is a directional pad and zoom capability which certainly seems to be helpful.

The layout seems intuitive enough – if you understand what you are doing – and if unsure of something, there is a user manual containing a whopping 300 pages! CAS Calc P11 is AirPrint supported and also allows you to email results from the app.

At $11.99 CAS Calc P 11 is in the median price range for comparable apps, so if you have to graph calculus, you should take a look at CAS Calc P11.
