Birds are really the go-to animals for games nowadays. This time developers Blue Peach and Hortor Soft collaborate for a colorful new game Bird Hunting Mania.

Of course in real life shooting at live animals may not be for you, but give it a shot in the virtual world with Bird Hunting Mania – you get the excitement, but not at the expense of animals’ lives. Planet Earth is running short on bird species, so your objective is to bring home some of the birds on a strange planet that has all of our species. (See, it’s even for a good cause.)

Game play is (deceptively) easy. You only have to tap on the screen to release the nets that should trap the birds. At the same time, collect golden coins and keep an eye out for the special phoenix and the magical eggs. Very straightforward, even a child could get the hang of this with not much of a problem.

However, we say deceptively easy because although the rules are simple, Bird Hunting Mania is incredibly tough to master. It’ll take a while before a novice player can move up the levels of this game, and even longer to finish it completely. Honestly, this makes it even more addicting to users. The challenge is irresistible, and so is the straightforward game play.

The graphics of the application really elevates Bird Hunting Mania into another level. It is stunning – the vivid colors of the birds you’re catching – and the exotic landscapes that serves as the backdrop. The attention to detail is amazing as they really made the illustrations very eye-catching. It makes you want to soak up the game even more; it is a real treat for the mind and the eyes.

The Story
More and more birds are becoming extinct from our mother earth. You've seen "Rio". You know what people have done to those beautiful birds. Fortunately, we've discovered a planet that has the same bird species. To protect those rare and endangered bird species, we need to increase the population of those birds. You are on the mission to bring back some birds from that planet.

How to Play
Shooting bullets of nets by tapping on the screen. Switching between different crossbow to adjust the size of the bullet. Purchase coins by clicking on the golden egg marked with "$" on the bottom left corner when you run out of coins. Phoenix can only be catch by bullets. Special eggs will be rewarded to you after catching a phoenix. You can choose to either hatch(wait for 15 minutes) the egg or break(100 coins) it.
