Say what you will about overstaying its welcome, but the truth is, you can never have enough of a good thing.

Diehard fans and casual players of highly successful phenomenon Angry Birds have something new to look forward to – a brand new sequel to the game. Angry Birds Space is out, and this time our beloved birds fly through space in a game that’s bigger, faster and infinitely more exciting than ever before.

The story is as charming and captivating as ever; the bird eggs are stolen and our avian friends are determined to catch the culprit, chasing it through a black hole and ending up in space with familiar nemeses (pigs).

There are sixty levels of intergalactic fun – this should be enough to tide us over ‘til the next Angry Birds offering. Watch out for bonus levels that will prolong game time. And, as expected, this new take on the old game is not done half-heartedly. If anything, the developers have upped the ante. There are new birds in the family, definitely characters that will be lining shelves soon in stores all over the world. In outer space, old birds will discover new super powers as well.

There are plenty of new features to go around that will surely satisfy every kind of player. Because of the different gravity on various planets, you will have to learn how to manipulate the environment to beat the pigs. Interesting in-app purchases and free updates make the experience worth visiting. Angry Birds Space offers the biggest challenge of the franchise as an in-app purchase: the Danger Zone; featuring 30 of the most difficult levels a player will encounter in the Angry Birds universe.

This is a whole new world to conquer, and the developers have made it even more irresistible. The backgrounds are colorful and impressively rendered, with the trademark attention to detail of former Angry Birds games. Game play, graphics and navigation are better than ever; the developers haven’t lost their touch, that’s for sure.
