Rings After Rings

When it comes to arcade games in the app store, there’s no shortage of options available. Whether you’re looking for something to pass the time while commuting on the bus or want a fully-fledged mobile gaming experience, you can find it all by doing a simple search. The latest addition to the arcade category is an app called Rings After Rings. And as the name implies, it involves a lot of rings.

The premise of the app is quite simple. Just imagine playing a game of X’s and O’s, except you have to match rings with the same collar to win. The best way to describe the gaming experience would be a cross between a puzzle and an arcade game. The puzzle element comes from the app’s level design, whereas the arcade element originates from the gameplay.

It will take you a few tries before you master this game, but once you do, you’ll have a hard time putting your phone down. The longer you play, the better it gets. You’ll have to arrange different color combinations and arrange each ring strategically within each level. Once you create a full circle with all the rings, you’ll have to start the game all over and try and beat your high score.

You get a bonus each time you successfully match a row of rings with the same color vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Kind of like you would if you were playing a game of tic tac toe with your friends.

Ringer After Ring’s unique design, coupled with its fast-paced puzzle gameplay makes it a one of a kind arcade game. You can download it for free on any device running iOS 8.0 or later.
